Company: 10 Million Women
What sparked our interest:
For us, it is always amazing to see companies using their platforms to promote a message of strength, equality, and empowerment for women.
But it is also more fulfilling when we see them not only doing that but also going the extra mile to make a difference in the life of women worldwide by taking actionable steps like supporting and promoting their small businesses.
What we love:
10 Million Women is a small business focused on supporting other small businesses. Their story, mission, and vision are incredibly well established and presented so everyone who reads it can feel an immediate connection to their cause.
The organization was founded by women passionate about gender equality, and they are constantly working to connect businesses with corporations committed to social responsibility. Their goal is to create a global network of businesses owned and led by women to positively impact society and achieve employment inclusion and equality.
We applaud this initiative and encourage everyone to support small businesses worldwide. Together we can make a difference.
The 3 takeaways you should be doing today:
- It’s time for women in business to thrive, and the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. You can start by using your social media to motivate and inspire others.
- Small businesses are the backbone of the economy worldwide, so don’t be afraid to show some support.
- You have the power to create the change you wish to see, whether it’s in your community or on a global scale. But it’s not enough to talk about change; the next step is for you to be willing to put in the hard work to make it happen. It starts with individual acts of kindness and compassion, which can ripple out and make a real difference.
